Thermal baths

Surrounded by thermal springs, appreciated by the Etruscans, our area has seen many baths sprung, such as Saturnia, in the Tuscan Maremma, and Terme dei Papi, in the Tuscia, which, together with the new Terme di Vulci, in the archaeological area of the same name, give visitors unforgettable relaxing moments

The Tarot Garden

Set on a Capalbio’s hill, 22 cyclopean sculptures, the Major Arcana, watch over the valley. In 17 years, the artist, Niki de Saint Phalle, realized her dream, an open-air museum where visitors are invited to get lost in colors and reflections. A unique park in the world: the Tarot Garden.

Park of Vulci

Following the footsteps of the ancient Etruscan people: from the Archaeological Park of Vulci, the city-state of Etruria and its perfectly reconstructed ancient road, up to Tarquinia and Tuscania, with their archaeological museums, numerous sarcophagi and incredible necropolises. A journey back in time for lovers of art, history and archeology.

Rome

Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Piazza di Spagna and Trevi Fountain, Rome offers these and many other unique places. A city steeped in history and art, just over an hour from our country house, you can visit the city that attracts millions of visitors and that can give unique and unrepeatable emotions.

Civita di Bagnoregio

The medieval historic center of Viterbo, Palazzo deiPapi, its Gothic jewel, and the Machine of Saint Rose; and Civita di Bagnoregio, the dying city, set on a clay cliff continuously eroded by water. Visits not to be missed, walks in the Middle Ages where time seems to stand still

Argentario, S. Stefano, Porto Ercole

The Argentario promontory is surrounded by unique landscapes, marine environments and climate. With its ancient fishing villages of Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, overlooking the crystal clear sea, the sandy beaches, the pine forests and the hidden coves with rocky bottoms: a paradise amongst sea, land and sky.

Giglio e Giannutri, Tuscan archipelago cruises

Embarking from Porto Santo Stefano, it’s possible to reach the two pearls of the Tuscan Archipelago: Giglio and Giannutri. Lose yourself in the pristine sea of these islands and their jagged coasts, interspersed with coves and bays that seem to come from the mythological world of the ancient Mediterranean navigators.

Maremma Natural Park

The Maremma Natural Park stretches between the Tuscan hills and the Tyrrhenian coasts: nine thousand hectares of sweet and uncontaminated nature, the kingdom of the Mediterranean Scrub, with its contrast of elements, scents of aromatic herbs, colors of wild berries and animal calls. A place where refresh your soul.

Pitigliano and Sovana

Maremma means historical-cultural routes but also eno-gastronomic ones, two aspects that combine perfectly within medieval villages and archaeological sites. Pitigliano, perched on a tuff spur, and Sovana, with its ancient Tombs, are unmissable places also for their wine specialties and for the delicacies of the local wild game.

Bolsena Lake

Not only sea, Lake Bolsena, less than an hour from our country house, offers a real mosaic of naturalistic, historical and culinary attractions. The lake of volcanic origin, sacred to the Etruscans, is surrounded by villages of Tuscia, a dip in the history of these places suspended in time.
